February already?

Jeez, the fall and winter went by fast! I had a student teacher during the fall semester, so I had time on my hands to work on some work things that had been piling up. Unfortunately, fall and winter is the slow time for me for sewing, so I haven't spent a lot of time in the sewing room.

I have some new ideas - I was playing around with reconstructions for awhile and really enjoyed them. I've made a few Memory Dolls and a bridesmaid's dress. And some clothes for me. :) I need to update the web page and make it a little prettier - I'm unsatisfied with that. And I have some really cute ideas for spring ponchos/capes for little girls. I'd love to try some matching with Barbie's or American Girls - I think that would be really cute.

It's been nice to get back down here the last few days - I miss it when I don't take time to work in the sewing room. It's relaxing for me - stress-relieving, and in general ...just nice.

Okay - I'm off to see what needs to be done!

wow! nice to meet you. I am still learning this sewing stuff, but I've made a few things that turned out well...mostly nursing dresses but that's been a few years and some costumes. My halloween costume came out really well.
I'm really hoping that SIL wants to do the sewing, but if she doesn't I'm playing on the fact that all eyes will be on the bride and not my small sewing goofs.
